As you already know, through the Association\u2019s programs our teens immerse themselves in a friendly environment supported by their peers, individual and corporate mentors, qualified psychologists, and coordinators. Here they gain many essential life and professional skills, while also developing in all areas through communication with interesting, successful people who have managed to fulfill themselves.<\/p>\n

But we all understand how difficult it can be to talk about yourself with people you barely know yet. Moreover, there are topics we feel uncomfortable discussing even with those closest to us. But we managed to find a creative solution to this problem. Yana Novikovska, one of the future mentors, suggested an interesting idea \u2014 to create a safe space where children can express themselves freely. We don\u2019t have \u00abwrong\u00bb questions or \u00abclosed\u00bb topics; instead, we find sincere answers together and exchange thoughts!<\/p>\n

New METAtransition project<\/strong> for teenagers within the framework of the \u00abPath to Success\u00bb Mentorship Program \u2014 a space for sincere conversations about important things among peers and mentors.<\/p>\n

Do you remember moments when you just want someone to listen to you? Or when there\u2019s a question spinning in your head that you have no one to talk to sincerely about? Imagine entering a space where 6\u20137 teenagers and two older friends discuss topics that matter to them, have fun, work through problems, and find answers to important questions together\u2026 This is our cozy circle of friends \u2014 METAtransition<\/p>\n

What is it?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s like an online summer camp for young people aged 14\u201323. These are weekly mini-group meetings with mentors. Every time there\u2019s a new topic for discussion. Honest communication, development, and leisure in the conscious growing-up project METAtransition (like a metaverse, only better).<\/p>\n

How does it work?<\/strong><\/p>\n

One online meeting every week. A total of eight are planned. The final one will be a surprise for all participants. Plus \u2014 mentorship support for the team 24\/7<\/p>\n

1\ufe0f. Honest conversation. Weekday meetings from 19:00 to 20:30.<\/p>\n

The first 40 minutes \u2014 we have a vibrant introduction, play games, listen to music, organize quizzes, quests, and much more!<\/p>\n

The next 30\u201345 minutes \u2014 we dive into exciting teenage topics, watch themed videos and discuss them together, sharing our impressions.<\/p>\n

2\ufe0f. Support from an older friend. Teenagers have the opportunity to communicate with their team mentor in private Telegram messages every day, which allows them to stay connected constantly.<\/p>\n

Why do teenagers need METAtransition?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We combined everything a modern teenager needs for recreation and well-rounded personal development: a safe environment, freedom of self-expression, an atmosphere of trust, live communication with peers, mentor support, and answers to questions.<\/p>\n

This project will contribute to a positive impact on our youth, allow them to broaden their horizons and worldview, unlock the potential of each participant, improve communication skills, and become a push toward making dreams come true! In addition, it will provide a great opportunity to find and get to know their future mentor faster and more closely in an atmosphere of trust and freedom of self-expression.<\/p>\n
