While autumn is still treating us to warm weather, the Mentorship Association decided not to waste any time and brought together all our children, teens, mentors, and volunteers for some fun and active recreation.<\/p>\n

Quests, fun and creative games, conversations, meeting new people, and of course football \u2014 that\u2019s how we spent our time! The children, mentors, and guests enthusiastically solved riddles and puzzles in teams, came up with fun sports warm-ups, and created creative team chants.<\/p>\n

Our active youth gladly joined the organization of the event, trying out different roles, and each person was responsible for their own station in the quest: \"Know-It-All,\" \"Quiz,\" \"Melody of Variety,\" \"Understand Me,\" and \"Dance.\".<\/p>\n

Then everyone played football, took part in relay races, cheered each other on, got to know one another better, and laid the first bricks of friendship. It is at events like these, in an atmosphere of sincere joy, ease, and unity, that the natural matching of mentor-child pairs takes place.<\/p>\n

\u00abThe photos are awesome)) and the event was fun and cool! Overall, I want to thank all the adults from both the center and the Mentorship Association for constantly coming up with something new. Quests, sports competitions, talent shows. The kids are really lucky to have you! \u00abThis Saturday I took part in the \"Quest games\" together with the children. Throughout the event, there was an atmosphere of genuine support, trust, and safety. The care shown by the adults looking after the children could be felt in everything. While completing one of the tasks, I realized how much children need support even in solving simple tasks. How important it is just to feel that you are not alone, that there is someone nearby who can help you, whether you know them or not. One boy, overcoming his doubts and shyness, asked me to read a word in the task so he could show this sport through movements. It\u2019s not about the fact that a child around 12 years old cannot read \u2014 it\u2019s about trust. When something is difficult, unclear, or painful, it\u2019s important to ask someone for help, and for that person to respond with empathy and complete understanding. And simply read that word. With respect for the child, for their condition, and for the path they are going through. What inspired and comforted me the most was communicating with the children I had already spoken with last time. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the children open up and share their problems and painful questions. I am deeply grateful to the organizers, volunteers, and mentors who organized and participated in this event. For me, it was an especially valuable experience. Everything was wonderful! Thank you for giving your warmth, light, and love to these children. \u00abThank you to everyone who came to our autumn sports competition. Thank you to all the volunteers and mentors for bringing joy to the teenagers staying at Rehabilitation Center No. 1.
