October 10 was a very difficult day for all of Ukraine. Massive missile attacks on most cities, extensive destruction, many injured and killed\u2026 First and foremost, we want to keep our children safe and take care of their psychological well-being. And so, when explosions were heard in Kyiv, the President of the Mentorship Association, Pavlo Shulha<\/a> helped urgently evacuate seven of our teenagers who expressed a desire to go to Vinnytsia, to the Angels of Hope volunteer center.<\/p>\n

The boys and girls were happy to find themselves in a safe place, surrounded by caring and sincere people. They also enjoyed the opportunity to see Vinnytsia. Everyone spoke enthusiastically about this picturesque city. But most of all, our boys were excited for the chance to join the volunteer activities of the Angels of Hope team and help pack food kits, which our volunteers would later deliver to people in eastern and southern Ukraine, where the food situation remains very difficult. Each of them approached this task diligently and responsibly, understanding that they were contributing to a good cause.<\/p>\n

\u00abI\u2019m very grateful for this trip! First of all, we went to Vinnytsia for safety because it was very dangerous in Kyiv at that time. But I still really enjoyed the trip because Vinnytsia unexpectedly turned out to be a very interesting city with beautiful architecture and parks in the city center. And at the volunteer center where we were welcomed, there were very kind people and delicious food)). I\u2019m very grateful to all the volunteers!\u00bb<\/em> \u2013 Anzhelika<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u00abFor me, the trip was very successful. I\u2019m very glad that I went and was able to help assemble food kits there. I also walked around Vinnytsia. It\u2019s a very beautiful city. I\u2019m grateful for the kindness and hospitality with which we were welcomed there, for the tennis matches with the guys, and for the good and meaningful time spent with my friends.\u00bb<\/em> \u2013 Volodya<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
