Dear friends, we are very happy that even under such difficult circumstances, we still managed to hold the long-awaited event for our children and youth, \u00abSports Are the Key to Good Health,\u00bb as part of the Corporate Mentorship program \u00abPath to Success.\u00bb And we were able to make this happen thanks to the incredible team at GDIP and \u00abDipservice,\u00bb who provided us with a wonderful venue, organized such a warm welcome and delicious treats, and, most importantly, created a safe atmosphere for our teenagers.<\/p>\n

The special value of events like these is the time children spend in a friendly and supportive atmosphere, getting to know caring adults who may eventually become their mentors. It is a time when they open up, share their emotions and thoughts, when they are not afraid to be themselves and feel heard and understood. And even if not everyone can say it out loud, a bright spark lights up in every child\u2019s eyes. And our mission is to make sure it never goes out.<\/p>\n

Fun relay races and team games, tennis, football, chess, funny dances, conversations on various topics, a tour around the grounds, cooking delicious pilaf and traditional Cossack porridge \u2014 everyone found something they enjoyed. The leaders of our \"Supermentors\" project, supported by the\u00a0King Baudouin Foundation<\/a>, conducted a \"Self-Help Kits\" training session for everyone present to help restore emotional well-being, because we are all currently living under constant stress and tension due to the war. And the warmth of our mentors\u2019, guests\u2019, and friends\u2019 hearts, their attention and care, warmed our children better than any heater could. Everyone was left with unforgettable impressions and a huge desire to gather more often, sharing joy and kindness with one another.<\/p>\n
