Sometimes one day can stay in your memory for a lifetime \u2014 and that was exactly the kind of day when the youth of the program met Corporate mentorship<\/strong>\u00a0with the company\u2019s leaders BASF<\/strong><\/a> as part of the project \u00abAgroMentor: Side by Side Toward Knowledge\u00bb<\/em>.<\/p>\n

It was more than just a meeting \u2014 it was a genuine dialogue between those who are still searching for their path and those who have already gone through a long journey of professional challenges, achievements, and discoveries. The young participants had a unique opportunity to speak with the management of BASF Ukraine<\/strong> and BASF Europe<\/strong>, ask questions, hear personal stories, and connect with the real human stories of success behind a major international company.<\/p>\n

The young participants actively asked the management questions about choosing a profession, taking the first career steps, and advice they would give to their younger selves. It was important for them to hear real stories from people who have already achieved great success, walked their own path, and realized that success is always a combination of self-belief, hard work, and the support of mentors.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s exactly what helped me develop self-discipline \u2014 a quality that is extremely important in life,\u00bb \u2014 shared\u00a0Cesari Urban<\/strong>, Director of the BASF Agricultural Solutions department in Ukraine.<\/p>\n

\u00abI really loved the interaction with the company\u2019s leadership. At first, it was scary to ask questions, but their sincerity and simplicity in communication helped me open up. The main thing I realized for myself is not to be afraid to move toward your dream and take action, even when it\u2019s scary. It\u2019s better to try and take a step forward than to do nothing at all\u00bb \u2014 <\/em>Sasha.<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u00abI was truly inspired by the video we watched and by the way the leaders shared their own stories. Their answers were deep and motivating. The main advice I took away for myself is to never give up and to keep developing, even when things seem difficult\u00bb \u2014 <\/em>Danya.<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

During lunch and informal conversations, the youth, management, and BASF mentors shared impressions, laughed, and recalled moments of working together on the project. There was a feeling of unity, warmth, and belief in a shared mission. The company prepared pleasant gifts and educational certificates for the participants \u2014 a symbol that growth never stops.<\/p>\n

\u00abI was deeply impressed by the live conversation with the company founders \u2014 their openness, sincerity, and willingness to answer any questions. It was interesting to hear real stories about the road to success and the challenges they faced. And the pizza \ud83c\udf55 was a nice bonus! I took away an important piece of advice for myself \u2014 to develop self-discipline, because it is exactly what leads to results\u00bb \u2014\u00a0<\/em>Tymur.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u00abI am very grateful for the opportunity to speak with the company\u2019s leadership. I was impressed by the sincerity with which they spoke about their journey and values. \u00abI received incredible emotions from the meeting! There was a real sense of trust and openness. Thanks to the training sessions and communication, I looked at my goals in a new way. I realized that I need to keep moving forward, try, take risks, draw conclusions, and not be afraid of change. This experience became a powerful motivator for my future achievements.
