The event brought together representatives of civic and charitable organizations, youth centers, and youth spaces from more than 15 regions of Ukraine \u2014 both those already implementing mentorship programs and those only planning to launch this initiative in their communities.<\/p>\n<p>During the training, participants:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>became thoroughly familiar with the provisions of the Law;<\/li>\n<li>worked through algorithms for engaging children and youth;<\/li>\n<li>examined the process of mentor training, organizing support and supervision;<\/li>\n<li>shared practical experience in implementing mentorship in their communities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>The Mentorship Association for Children and Youth<\/em>joined the event as invited speakers. We had the opportunity to talk about the importance of mentorship in a child\u2019s life, the principles of matching mentors and children, as well as the professional support system that ensures the safety and sustainability of these relationships.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mentorinua.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/5667ac_b32a3a40c70841eb9d64fcf60d1bd171_mv2.png\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/figure>\n<p>As part of the meeting dedicated to the development of mentorship, we shared our experience with future coordinators of this field from different parts of Ukraine.
