What if getting to know an international company started not with a presentation, but with a real adventure? That\u2019s exactly how our AgroMentor 2.0 project launched in partnership with BASF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It all started with getting acquainted. But not in the usual way. We shared our favorite dishes, revealed little facts about ourselves, and realized how much people who were complete strangers just an hour earlier could have in common. We played \u00abTruth or Myth,\u00bb learned interesting facts about the company, and watched a video about its journey \u2014 from its creation to today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And then came the most exciting part \u2014 a tour of the office. Teaming up with corporate mentors, we set off on a quest to explore the company from the inside. It wasn\u2019t just a route from one office to another. It was a chance, even if only for a few hours, to feel like part of a large international business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together with the mentors, we allocated budgets and searched for a balance between needs and opportunities. We created our own fruit of the future and thought about how it could benefit people. We learned the journey a product takes before reaching the market. We identified the stages of logistics and discovered how many processes stand behind the timely delivery of products. We also got acquainted with the worlds of IT and marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abA very atmospheric event, it felt like being among our own people. I was personally impressed by the depth of the company\u2019s life and its constant drive toward innovation. I became interested in the administrative and logistics departments, so I\u2019m eager to see what other interesting things will be revealed next\u00bb \u2014 Alona<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\u00abI really enjoyed being at the event, it was much more interesting than just being at school. The scale of the achievements was incredible \u2014 I was amazed\u00bb \u2014 Sviatoslav<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

We also learned how the company\u2019s different teams operate, especially the administrative department, which is the first to welcome guests and helps the big mechanism called BASF run smoothly every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the most valuable part was that in every department we were welcomed by people who didn\u2019t just talk about their jobs, but shared their own experiences, answered questions, showed us how decisions are made, and helped us see that behind every profession there are not only skills and knowledge, but also teamwork, responsibility, creativity, and a desire to do your work well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s how professions stop being just titles and become living stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abI was very interested in the company\u2019s digital operations department, and I\u2019d love to see how the work looks up close. I\u2019m really looking forward to the continuation to learn and discover more about what they do. \u00abAt first I felt a little awkward because of the scale and number of people, but it was interesting and very warm. I saw how much just one company can encompass. We thank the BASF team and the corporate mentors for their openness, sincerity, and the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the world of the company and feel like part of it. For the wonderful beginning of our journey in AgroMentor 2.0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A special source of pride that day was our participant Sasha, who became the event photographer. She captured the most genuine emotions, smiles, and moments of teamwork for us.
