On 05/29/2021, we had a grand event that everyone had been waiting for for a very long time — the «WIZARD OF GOOD» Picnic!
More than 60 participants of Corporate Mentoring attended, including our mentees, Mentors, partners, and friends of the project #CorporateMentoring.
The day started with a boxing master class led by WBO Youth World Champion and WBA Intercontinental Champion Khasan Baysangurov. He didn’t just conduct a master class, but also shared his life experience and success story, which inspired our boys and girls to keep moving forward.
Next, everyone enjoyed a positive and very energetic acting master class from Roksolana Mulyk, a professional actress and acting and improvisation coach Theater School "Obraz" Kyiv".
After the master classes, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch from our wonderful and reliable partners KFC and Mcdonald's, as well as the traditional picnic treat of marshmallows over the campfire and drinks from our friend Olga Gults!
After a hearty lunch and conversation, Mentor Masha Kokhanets shared her mentoring success story, which has been going on for 9 years already: «Mentoring is already my lifestyle!». To date, she has graduated 4 girls and continues individual Mentoring with a 5th teenage girl. Also, her mentees Katya Ivanova and Anastasia shared how important it is for them to have a Mentor. They emphasized that a Mentor means support, friendship, and above all, a person who will always help and whom you can trust 100 percent.
There were also gifts for our mentees, which we were able to provide thanks to the «May Santa» lottery held on social media. Every active participant received a mug with a motivational quote, and the newcomers were initiated into #CorporateMentoring and received books provided by Mentor Iryna and our partners Content.UA
And at the end of the day, everyone was waiting for very important news! Our current President of the Mentoring Association Andrey Matvienko transferred his authority to the new President of ANDM Pavel Shulga. We thank Andrey for his contribution to the Association and Mentoring! We are not saying goodbye, but rather: «See you soon!».
The picnic did not end there. For several more hours we played, talked, laughed, and had fun in the wonderful forest under the warm sunshine, which according to all forecasts should not have been there, but God performed His miracle so that all participants could enjoy this long-awaited event 100%.
