Program participants «Path to Success» The participants of the Mentoring Association continued exploring various modern and exciting professions. This time, they immersed themselves in the world of coffee — a world of delicate flavors and sensations! And the specialists from Kava Pro and FireBerry Barista School revealed all the secrets and subtleties of this amazing world to us.
Girls and boys from the Corporate Mentoring program saw every stage of the production process in practice — thorough coffee quality control, where coffee is roasted, how it is packaged, and the specifics of storing it. They also learned about the особенності of making delicious coffee using a coffee machine and alternative methods of preparing this aromatic drink.
Our teenagers listened with great interest and attention to the story about different types of coffee machines and coffee grinders. We were shown the full range of comprehensive solutions for coffee shops. It was incredibly interesting to learn what exactly makes high-quality coffee and what the taste of brewed coffee depends on. The teenagers also learned about the specifics of working as a barista, how to master this profession, how to properly interact with customers, and what opportunities for future growth exist in this field.
But perhaps the most important thing for the boys and girls was hearing the success stories of Mykhailo and Sasha from Kava Pro: how to start a career, improve your skills, and become a top-class specialist. The Mentoring Association is very grateful for the inspiration and motivation our children received from professionals who are truly passionate about what they do!
And everyone was absolutely thrilled with the practical part! You don’t get the chance every day to try yourself in the role of a taster — distinguishing different coffee varieties by taste and trying to identify all kinds of aromas, because true professionals must be able to recognize the slightest nuances of smells in their work. It’s not as easy as it may seem at first glance. But thanks to our friends from Kava Pro, we successfully completed the task!

These kinds of introductions to professions are very important and extremely beneficial for young people. To experience a unique atmosphere, see everything from the inside, try it yourself, and talk with experienced specialists. This is exactly what helps teenagers decide on their future profession and pursue something that brings them joy. As a result, three participants of the tour became so interested in this field that they wanted to become baristas and develop in this direction.
