Summer is in full swing, and so is mentorship. This month has been significant for everyone already involved in mentorship and for those just preparing to take their first step. The adoption of the new law opens up more opportunities for children and young people to have a mentor, and for mentors to become that safe adult who will support, listen, and be there when it’s needed most.
This month, we held another warm support group meeting for mentors. It was a space where people could openly talk about their own experiences, share joys and challenges, receive support, and feel that they are not alone on their mentoring journey.
We celebrated shared moments, listened to one another, and once again realized that support is needed not only for children and young people, but also for the adults who stay by their side every day.
We thank our friends and partners Kyiv City Center of Social Services for providing a space where we can meet, communicate, restore our energy, and become an even stronger mentoring community.
