The Path to Success: The Mentoring Association Celebrates the Fourth Anniversary of Its Activities in Ukraine

Four years ago, on August 13, 2018, the Mentoring Association began its work in Ukraine. It feels like everything was just beginning yesterday, and today, dear friends, we are happy to share with you our success, achievements, and projects that we have managed to implement during this time. None of this would have been possible without the help and support of our partners, friends, and professional team, to whom we are sincerely grateful for being with us and continuing to help make a meaningful contribution to the well-being and creation of new opportunities for our children and youth, because they are our future.
Our organization is the first international association founded by leading nonprofit organizations from Ukraine and the United States. The Association’s projects and programs combine practical experience with proprietary methodologies that have helped hundreds of children and teenagers unlock their potential, strengthen life skills, and believe in themselves. The Association’s signature program "Path to Success" received international recognition by becoming a laureate of the UN Global Entreps Awards (Society and Business for Sustainable Development) in 2020 and won an award at the Mentoring Summit in Barcelona in the "Best Mentoring Project" category. The Association also became the winner of the "TOP 100" Fair of the Best NGO Projects in Kyiv in 2020.
The programs developed by the Association are fully adapted to the realities and needs of Ukraine and demonstrate their effectiveness and impressive results every day. That is why we plan to implement mentoring programs in all regions of the country. In response to requests from various organizations, we conduct seminars, trainings, and supervisions. We bring together all participants in the mentoring process, provide training and support, and share professional experience and proprietary methodologies in implementing various mentoring programs. A major achievement is the growing number of requests and interest from many organizations in both individual mentoring programs and trainer preparation, as well as corporate mentoring programs and cooperation with businesses, family mentoring, and mentoring for young mothers.
Over these 4 years, thanks to the results of diligent and persistent work, we have established ourselves as reliable partners and managed to earn the trust of both organizations and businesses. The Association has become a mechanism that united the public sector, businesses, and NGOs to provide comprehensive support to vulnerable children and youth in order to prepare them for a successful independent life.
For Ukrainian businesses, the field of corporate social responsibility is still a fairly new direction that we are actively working to develop. The Mentoring Association actively and successfully engages large companies in developing concepts and implementing joint social projects. We are proud to cooperate with companies such as Boeing, WinnerGroup, 3M, ZAMMLER GROUP, NHSU, McDonald's, “Obraz” Theater School”, Pary Match, Kyivstar, Hyatt Regency Kyiv, KFC, Bakkara Hotel Kyiv, PepsiCo Ukraine, “Safety Park”, GoCamp, Connect.ua, IT courses, VeAn Tattoo Art, METRO, the Kyiv fire department, Dovzhenko Film Studio, as well as meetings with well-known and successful businessmen, designers, bloggers, and journalists who gladly share their experience and success stories and serve as motivators for our youth.
The Mentoring Association is the only organization that has signed a Memorandum with the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, granting us the authority to train specialists who will later be able to engage in mentoring and, in turn, prepare mentor candidates.
The needs of modern society are very dynamic, and we are constantly developing, improving, and growing as well. We are discovering new horizons and opportunities to bring ideas and plans to life. We will continue to build social partnerships between NGOs, businesses, government institutions, volunteers, and mentors. Our goal is to become a "bridge" and unite everyone to achieve a common objective — to do everything possible for a successful and bright future for our children!
