Do you remember yourself at 17–18 years old? Did you have confidence and a clear understanding of who you wanted to become in the future? Choosing a profession that you truly enjoy and that brings satisfaction is not easy at all. But when professionals share their experience with you, revealing all the nuances of a particular specialty, making a conscious choice becomes much easier.
The Mentorship Association sincerely thanks the specialists at Hyatt Regency Kyiv who conducted a tour for ten of our boys and girls participating in the «Path to Success» Mentorship program. In addition to the hotel tour, the teenagers had the opportunity to learn about all the specifics of the hotel business, see everything from the inside, talk with experienced professionals, and ask questions to get important information for themselves. Our young people listened with great interest to the engaging stories from the Hyatt Regency professional team and asked countless questions about the specifics of working in a hotel, career growth, requirements, and the necessary knowledge and skills.
The boys and girls from the Corporate Mentorship program saw that learning continues even in the workplace. There is no need to be afraid that you do not know something; instead, you should be open to gaining new knowledge, developing your skills, and improving yourself. Our teenagers received a huge boost of motivation to study, improve their foreign language skills, and try themselves in a new field. They saw how important caring for employees, as well as the safety and comfort of guests, is for a hotel.
Our young people were delighted by the beautiful and stylish hotel interior. They were given an interesting tour of the rooms and were also shown the conference hall and restaurant. And to top it all off, the friendly Hyatt Regency specialists treated them to fragrant signature croissants with tea and coffee, which completely won over the hearts of our teenagers.
