How do you make an informed decision about getting a tattoo? How does a tattoo machine work? Why is safety the top priority in this field? Our youth received answers to these and many other questions during an art session at the tattoo academy.
We immersed ourselves in the world of tattoo art: learned about its history, its significance in different cultures, and modern trends. We discussed all the important aspects: how to make a conscious choice, what you should know about tattoo aftercare, and what risks can arise if safety rules are not followed.
The most exciting stage was the hands-on practice. Participants prepared their workstations: unpacked and filled caps, adjusted pens, and learned proper instrument disinfection. And then came the most important moment! For the first time, the youth tried holding a tattoo machine and created their first lines and lettering on artificial skin.
This practice became not only a new experience, but also a kind of creative outlet. Nervousness turned into excitement, and uncertainty into the thrill of wanting to try again.
