«Planes, Careers, and Skyscrapers: Discover Amazing Careers in Aviation» — this was the title of the engaging lecture prepared and delivered for children participating in the «Path to Success» program by specialists from the company Boeing as part of the «Take Flight with Boeing» project.
Our teenagers eagerly look forward to every meeting with the company’s corporate mentors, as it is an opportunity for them to learn a lot of useful and new information, broaden their horizons, and also get involved and try themselves in the roles of hosts and chat managers.
Even technical difficulties caused by the lack of communication and internet did not prevent us from holding the meeting, because we knew how much the children were looking forward to it. This time, Yevhen Kuzmenko shared with us his many years of experience in the aviation industry. He told our youth about such interesting professions as flight attendant, ground service agent, airline check-in representative, electrical systems maintenance engineer, and others, while the engaging presentation and videos clearly demonstrated the various processes and responsibilities of all these specialties.
It was very valuable for our teenagers to hear about how to behave in various unforeseen situations, about responsibility, and how it builds character. The personal experience Yevhen shared, his story about education and internships, and what needs to be done for career development — all of this motivates young people and gives them a vision of the steps needed to build a successful future. Thank you for the advice to our boys and girls about choosing their own path and for motivating them not to be afraid, but to try!
