Dear friends! Today we want to share unforgettable impressions from the kite-making and flying workshop held as part of the «Flight with Boeing» project. For our teenagers participating in the Kidsave® Corporate Mentoring Program «Path to Success,» it was an incredible day filled with эмоції, fascinating knowledge, and meaningful connections!

At the beginning of the event, we got to know each other by dividing into four teams, and each team had the task of creating its own kite with the support of the host and instructions. Right from the start, our boys and girls realized that this was not just a toy, but an opportunity to learn a lot about aerodynamics and try themselves in the role of engineers.
Corporate mentors from Boeing were there with us, offering valuable advice and support, helping the children understand the basics of kite flight and overcome challenges during their creation and launch. We are sincerely grateful for such a creative approach, engaging presentation of information, and for patiently answering the millions of questions we had!

The children were thrilled to discover that a kite can actually be made from everyday materials. All you need is imagination and a willingness to experiment! When our kites were ready, it was time to launch them. The emotions were overwhelming when we first saw them soar into the sky! It was incredibly beautiful and exciting.
And this wonderful day was made even better with a delicious lunch, heartfelt conversations with Boeing specialists, and memorable gifts our boys and girls received from them.

This sunny autumn day will be remembered not only for the new kite-making skills everyone gained, but also for the invaluable experience of coordinated teamwork. Together with Boeing’s corporate mentors, our children learned to listen to one another, share ideas, solve tasks as one team, and achieve wonderful results.

The children who participated in the workshop happily shared their impressions:
