We continue our «Getting to Know a Profession» series, and today we want to tell you about the unforgettable time our boys and girls spent learning with the KFC team! Our partnership with KFC began about three years ago, and during this time it has grown into a true friendship, because together we went on tours, had a great time playing team games, introduced many teenagers to the profession, and volunteered — we visited an animal shelter where we helped with cleaning. KFC specialists are always happy to take part in all our events and support us with their products, which our children absolutely love. These are incredibly sincere and open young people who set a wonderful example of a friendly and united team for our teenagers. They are true motivators, thanks to whom 6 participants in our program Corporate Mentoring got jobs at KFC and found interesting work.
This time flew by very quickly in a kind, cheerful, and friendly atmosphere. Our girls and boys immersed themselves in the work process under the guidance of specialists. They prepared hamburgers on their own, fried French fries, poured drinks, and took orders. Our young people learned about the specifics of working at the stations, job requirements, and safety procedures. It was also important for the children to meet the KFC team and learn about their professional journey.
Whoever works hard definitely deserves a good lunch, right? So our boys and girls happily enjoyed the treats provided by the KFC team! And at the end, the children presented awards to the KFC specialists and shared what they especially liked.
We are grateful to our partners, you gave the children so many positive emotions! Live communication with professionals who can share their experience, talk interestingly about different aspects of the profession, give them the opportunity to try it themselves, step into the profession, and gain new useful knowledge and skills that will definitely help them in their independent adult lives is incredibly important for teenagers.
