Last week, our team had the honor of being invited by the Kyiv City Center of Social Services to the City Forum of Social Workers — an event that brought together people who make this world warmer and safer for children, youth, and families every day.
As part of the exhibition “Best Practices in Social Work with Families and Children in 2025,” we presented the activities of the Association for Mentorship of Children and Youth. It was a wonderful space for networking, communication, and inspiration for joint action.
It was especially heartwarming that our Association was represented by graduates of the “Corporate Mentorship. Path to Success” program, who have now become part of our team as young professionals! With great enthusiasm, they spoke about their mentorship experience, shared stories, and answered the many questions from participants — and there were quite a lot of them:
🌿 How does the “Young Mother” program work?
🌿 Can a mentor support several children at the same time?
🌿 How do we organize corporate events for youth?
🌿 What path do you need to take to become a mentor?
The interest in our work was tremendous — many professionals approached the Association’s booth wanting to learn more about mentorship and opportunities for cooperation.
The recognition from Yaroslava Valeriivna Kolobova, Director of the Kyiv City Center of Social Services, thanking our team for its active civic stance, charitable activities, and contribution to developing support for families, children, and youth is extremely valuable to us.
After the exhibition part, the plenary session “FSP” took place, where words of gratitude were expressed to social workers, and the best among them received well-deserved awards and diplomas.
We returned from the forum with a sense of pride, gratitude, and faith that together we can change the lives of children and youth for the better.
