Another 14 motivated participants have completed an intensive 4-day training course and are ready to become a source of support for children growing up in institutions. This graduating group is the result of the synergy between the Ternopil Regional Center of Social Services, the Mentoring Association for Children and Youth, partners from Awakened Generation, and «Youth With A Mission.».
For our Association, it is extremely important that the training of future mentors is conducted at the highest level. That is why, as part of this training, our specialist provided supervision for two trainers in Ternopil. We care about the quality of knowledge transfer, because the success of future interaction between a mentor and a child depends on the trainer’s expertise.
Mentorship is not just about visits — it is strategic support for a child’s socialization. It is a bridge between life in an institution and a successful independent future.
